Suppositions are rounding the air as the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart are staying in the same hotel named Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
Modi will reach the place on this Wednesday and Nawaz Sharif will reach on September 25. The rumors are spreading like jet speed that the two leaders will meet face to face at the 70th UN General Assembly session this week.
Modi has broken the tradition that from past many years Indian PMs have always stayed at the New York Hotel. New York is the traditional place where the heads of the government from India will stay when they came for the UNGA.
Both of them had last met on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Ufa, Russia. Modi in that meeting had ended with an announcement that he would visit Islamabad in 2016 for the SAARC summit. Till now there is no conformation or commitment from both the sides for the summit.
