Many people have fought for separate Telangana, many sacrifices happened, after all at any cost people of Telangana celebrated freedom and expressed their happiness for naming a separate state as Telangana.
Now many politicians are claiming that the Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrasekhar Rao is not celebrating the Liberation Day. The TDP district president and former legislator Ch. Vijayarama Rao wanted the government to celebrate the State Liberation day and also wanted to include the moment in the state syllabus. He also found fault with Mr.Rao for going back on its words on celebrating the Telangana big day.
The BJP president G Kishan Reddy alleged that Rao has taken a U-turn on this matter, he also included that the Chief Minister had celebrated the day official prior to the formation of the state and now he is not showing any interest in celebrating the day. Reddy stated that Maharashtra and Karnataka will celebrate as those two were earlier part of Hyderabad and BJP would continue to celebrate this occasion as it does every year.
The TPCC spokesperson G Niranjan also demanded the state government to celebrate the day. Niranjan reminded by presenting a video clip, that KCR demanding the former chief minister Rosaiah to celebrate the day. He also demanded the state head to observe September 17 as Telangana Liberation Day like Karnataka and Maharashtra.
