The Telangana Chief Minister KCR who has started Ayutha Chandi Yagam at his farmhouse in Medak District is totally amount to Rs 7 Crore.
While many opposition party leaders and protestors questioning him the importance, need and also regarding the huge amount being spent in performing the Yagam.
KCR said, "Not a single paise from the government is being spent. Even for generators and RTC bus, we are paying.”
This Yagam is being performed by 1500 priests, 50,000 guests and also appointed 500 cooks to prepare food for people.
"As the chief minister, he should help families like us who are really suffering. Did he not promise homes and pensions? We have neither of that," said some of the sufferers from drought.
“106 fire pits and a parking space for 20,000 has been arranged as the farmhouse is a hub of activity, sadly no one has visited farmers in the nearby village which is struck by tragedy,” reported by one of the leading daily.
