Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Ashok Singhal who was undergoing treatment for ill health in Medanta Medicity hospital in Gurgaon was died at 2:24 PM on Tuesday.
The demise news was confirmed by Praveen Togadia, an Indian doctor and advocate for Hindu Nationalism. Praveen was appointed as the leader after Ashok due to his unconditional health.
89-year-old Singhal was admitted on November 14 to Medanta with complaints of acute breathlessness and has been diagnosed with right lower Lobe Pneumonia. He was on a ventilator from November 14 evening.
All the BJP leaders expressed sorrow towards his death and also forwarded condolences to his family. He was the International Working President of the Hindu Organisation Vishwa Hindu Parishad for 20 years.
