The Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government could soon announce the second phase of the odd-even scheme in the national capital, a report said on Saturday.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief, who is presently undergoing naturopathy treatment in Bengaluru, had on January 25 announced that his government would seek public opinion on the implementation of the second phase of the road rationing experiment and also issued an email id - oddevenidea@gmail.com - in this regard.
The Delhi CM is expected to go through the response of the Delhiites after returning back from Bengaluru.
Last month, Kejriwal had said the six broad questions on which the government is seeking public responses include whether the scheme should be implemented again? If yes, when it should be done and for what duration, whether people will be encouraged to buy another car and whether the exemptions introduced earlier were up to the mark or need to be reconsidered?
The Delhi government will hold meetings in all the 70 Assembly constituencies on February 6 and 7 to gather public opinion before implementing the second phase of the odd-even scheme in the national capital.
