Congress president Sonia Gandhi has written to state party bosses to conduct ear-to-the-ground surveys and seek feedback on how grassroots leaders would like to see the party reform itself. Her directive comes in the wake of the organizational revamp announced by party vice president Rahul Gandhi after the Congress's rout in the Lok Sabha elections in May last year.
