Shiv Sena party chief Uddhav Thackeray in a speech of celebrating party’s one year in government at Ravindra Natya Mandir on Thursday said that Maharashtra’s new CM will be from Shiv Sena Party only.
Targeting Mr Devendra Fadnavis current CM of Maharashtra he said that, “Presenting our reports is just a teaser. We are showing what we can do, despite being in such a situation. If we can do this now, what would be done if we got complete power. Tomorrow’s CM will be from the Sena,”
Focusing Mr. Fadnavis over his foreign trips Mr. Thackeray said “the new CM will be someone, who will travel more in the State. Why are you laughing?” he asked the cheering crowd. “Shouldn’t the CM travel more with the people who elected him? Your laughter suggests that it’s not happening. We will change it.”
If that’s not visible on ground, then what’s the use of it? We (the Sena) are not bothered about power. We are for people and even though we share power, we will not stop raising the people’s issues,” Uddhav asked people to vote for a change in the government.
“The money that we received was the result of our last year’s demand. Is this the kind of government we run? If the delay in reaching money to the people continues even today, then who is supposed address it? I have to answer my voters and no matter who feels bad about it, I will continue touring the drought-hit regions to help farmers,” he said, in an apparent reply to the BJP that had earlier expressed discontent over his visits to Marathwada region despite being in power,” said Mr Thackeray.
