Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi visited Odisha for a two day visit to meet the farmers of Odisha and also to sort out the issues.

On the first day of his tour, on Thursday he reached to streets where 30,000 people walked along with him. In his way, he slammed Modi government’s pro-corporate and anti farmer policies.

On his 7km way he addressed four roadside meetings, on his every speech fired words bullets on Modi’s government. Rahul often referred Prime Minister as the person of false promises, adding to the comment he also said, "Prime Minister Modi makes so many promises, but he fulfills none." Targeting the NDA government's alleged corporate bias, he said, "This suit-boot-ki-sarkar is working full time to protect interests of a handful of corporate houses."

Speaking about the deaths of farmers Rahul said that, "Whatever good work the UPA government had started, are being killed slowly. That is the reason farmers' suicides are rising.”
