July 25th, when Prime Minister visited Muzaffarpur, Bihar on an election rally said that Nitish Kumar’s DNA seems to be poor. Taking this statement into consideration, Nitish Kumar has written an open letter to Modi demanding to take back the statement.
Nitish is demanding to withdraw the statement before the next visit of PM on August 9th in Gaya. On the same day when Modi said the statement, the CM of Bihar tweeted that “I am a son of Bihar, so my DNA is the DNA of the people of Bihar, Now I leave it to the people of Bihar how the reply someone who says their DNA is poor.”
Nitish Kumar on this morning posted a tweet on his micro blogging site twitter saying, "Your comments on my DNA at a rally recently has left me and a large section of society deeply hurt, Not just people of Bihar, but even those living outside the state have felt insulted by the choice of your words."
He further added, “not only disrespected me but also disrespected a Mahadalit like Jitan Ram Manjhi. There seems to be some problem in his DNA because the DNA of democracy is not like that. In democracy, you give respect even to your political rivals.”
