Peoples President our beloved Bharat Ratna recipient Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam declared as dead while he was delivering lecture on “Livable Planet” at Indian Institute of Management Shillong.
The 84-years-old Kalam was died on Monday due to Cardiac arrest at a hospital in Meghalaya. All the delegates from India poured condolences on his death who includes Pranab Mukherjee, Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh, Rahul Gandhi…..
A great Scientist at DRDO APJ Kalam was born and bought up in a Tamil Muslim family in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. As his father income is not sufficient for their family, Kalam used to distribute newspapers to help his father. Born with great talent Dr kalam was graduated in University of Madras with Physics as his main stream in 1954. He couldn’t achieve his dream of becoming a fighter pilot in IAF.
After his education, Abdul joined the Aeronautical Development Establishment of the Defence Research and Development Organisation as a scientist.
