Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal says that "Somnath should surrender. Why is he running away? Why is he so scared of going to jail? Now he is becoming embarrassment for party n his family, he should cooperate with the police.”
As we all know that Aam Aadmi Party Leader Somanth Bharti was accused of involvement in a drugs racket. Recently, his wife also registered a case against him. Now, the Delhi high court on Tuesday dismissed the anticipatory bail plea of Bharti.
The High court declared that, "Bharati was not only violent and outrageous at home, but also before the public at large.” Soon after the bail plea was dismissed, Delhi police started raids on the legislator’s residence and also in office.
According to the reports, it was said that Somnath was present in the office till Tuesday morning but suddenly he finds missing. "We sent two police teams to Bharti's office at Dwarka and residence at Malviya Nagar, but he was not present at either of the two. When we tried to call him up, his phone was also found to be switched off," said the Joint Commissioner of Police (southwest) Dependra Pathak.
