In support of the distressed farmers, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday will address a Sahyog Rally in the Mundka area of the national capital.  In the rally he is likely to announce a relief package for farmers whose crops have been affected by untimely rains. Also, he will woo farmers about his government's policy for farmers. Unseasonal rains this year have damaged over 24.7 million acres of crops. Debt-laden farmers have already been suffering because of low incomes and weak global food prices. Many have even committed suicide.  Reportedly, a delegation of farmers had called on Kejriwal on Friday at the Delhi Secretariat to submit a memorandum requesting him to compensate to Delhi farmers for the loss of crops.
