The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is said to have silently commenced the probe into the mysterious death of IAS officer D.K. Ravi. On getting instructions from the Union Home Ministry, the CBI team led by ADGP Venugopal from Chennai, has reportedly begun the investigation. On complaints that a few evidences in the case have been destroyed, CBI is said to have decided to interrogate a few senior Police Officers and also the doctor who conducted the post-mortem at Victoria Hospital. Two days ago, the CBI team reportedly collected the post-mortem report from the hospital. Sources have confirmed that CBI officials have already taken the CID interim reports into their possession.
