Delhi government apologized on Thursday for publishing the advertisements of the constitution day.

They advertised regarding this day with the preamble of the constitution excluding Socialist and Secular in the ad.

“The chief minister has taken a stern view of the matter and has directed the Director of Information and Publicity to conduct an inquiry and submit a report within four days,” a government statement said.

All the States and Centre are busy celebrating constitution day. All the Central board schools (CBSE)’s are celebrating constitution day and an order was passed by the respective governments to let the students know the importance of constitution.

When the same situation was faced by NDA government then the AAP embarrassment and criticized the NDA government at the Centre when a similar mistake was spotted in official advertisements on Republic Day earlier this year.

The AAP had criticized the NDA government as, the omission of secular in the advertisement clearly represents NDA is against the secular fabric.

Additional district programme officer (ADPO) Ashish Kumar said, "All government schools have been directed to celebrate the anniversary of the signing and adoption of the Constitution by the constituent assembly. The constituent assembly accepted the constitution on November, 26, 1949 and implemented it on January, 26, 1950".
