Criminal Case against AAP MLA

If reports are to be believed, criminal case was booked against the Aam Aadmi Party MLA Surender Singh for making casteist remarks on the New Delhi Municipal Council sanitary inspector Mukesh Kumar on Tuesday.

The case was filed in Tughlaq road police station based on the complaint by the NDMC sanitary inspector Ram Jeevan Meena who also belongs to Scheduled Caste.

According to the case it is filed that, Singh along with his team was conducting an anti-encroachment drive near Race Course Road in New Delhi and removing unauthorized street vendors on Tuesday. Singh reached out and starting arguing with them when the NDMC staffers are acting against the illegal vendors.

Singh started making casteist remarks when NDMC staff was protesting the vendors and collecting money from them, said DCP singh.

Singh, his driver and an associate punched on NDMC employee Mukesh Kumar face when he was on duty, where mukesh joined in a hospital and treated for his injuries.
