Ranked No.1 in a best CM’s list provided by India Today group, the Delhi CM is now teaching lessons of anti-corruption to the leaders of his cabinet.
One of the opposition party leader in Delhi Assembly said, “Had Mr. Kejriwal really been a champion of the fight against corruption as he claims, he would have taken no time in appointing the Lokayukta and promulgating the Jan Lokpal Bill. Mr. Kejriwal has been deliberately postponing its implementation, which clearly shows he is not serious about fighting corruption.”
So, as of his first action the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal publicly dismissed the Food Minister Asim Ahmed Khan for allegedly demanding bribes from a builder and also played the audio tape of the conversation between Khan and builder. He strictly warned the AAP’s leader in the presence of media that the party will not tolerate any corruption further.
“We won’t tolerate any corruption, even if it is by our ministers or legislators, even if we have to give the biggest sacrifice, we will not compromise on corruption. We are keeping a vigil on everyone,” said Kejriwal.
Chief Minister wanted to know the reason behind his MLA’s joining in AAP. He had arranged a meeting tomorrow with all the MLAs families to know the reason.
"Meeting all MLAs, with families, tomo eve. To remind them why we came in politics. To warn them that Asim Khan episode shud not happen again," Kejriwal tweeted.
