Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday started his three day visit to the Pakistan effected Jammu and Kashmir, to interact with the people who are suffering from the fire attacks every now and then.
Rahul visited Balakote, where six people were killed and many were injured in Pak firings early this month. Gandhi also interacts with the people belonging to the region of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh valley.
He met the families affected by firing at the Poonch village and said the center should fulfill their needs like rehabilitation, compensation and insurance.
According to the media reports, he will visit to sopore and pampore areas in Kashmir to discuss the problems people facing there.
“People here are very worried, very scared.... These are valid demands. I think the government of India should look into it, do something about it, they say when someone is killed in terror attack, they get more compensation. Those killed by Pakistani shells get less compensation. They said the compensation should be same,” Mr.Gandhi said.
