The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday said that the Jitendra Singh Tomar case has exposed the 'true face' of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). "Jitendra Singh Tomar case exposes the true face of AAP. Even after this incident came to light, AAP maintained its silence on the matter. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar criticised the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) after the arrest of its member and Delhi Law Minister Jitendra Singh Tomar in connection with his allegedly forged law degree. "The law degree of the Delhi Law Minister has turned out to be fake and he has been arrested. Despite being unmasked in public, AAP leaders and government are attacking the Centre. This is an example of the the pot calling the kettle black," Javadekar told reporters here. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra told media. "When they had the option of asking for a resignation they did not. They did so only when they had no other option," he added. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia will meet Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung later in the day. The meeting comes a day after Tomar tendered his resignation as the Delhi Law Minister. Tomar, who was arrested yesterday and sent to four-day police custody, has stated that his degree is not fake and blamed his arrest on a conspiracy by the Central.
