Controversial BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj on Monday said that Bihar must realise it has cancer and needs immediate surgery if it has any hope for development.
The Unnao MP even said that if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) loses in Bihar then it will be the state's loss and not that of PM Narendra Modi or BJP president Amit Shah's.
"I have been hearing reports lately that we might lose Bihar. If that happens, then it would be Bihar's loss and not Modi's or Amit Shah's," Sakshi Maharaj said.
This is not the first time when BJP MP has given any controversial remark. Earlier, he supported Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for his beef remark. Recently, he had also supported Jammu and Kashmir BJP MLA who had beaten up independent legislature Sheikh Abdul Rashid inside the Assembly for throwing a beef party.
"Leaders need to change their mindset or get beaten up by the people in full public view," he had said.
Bihar in its first and second phase of polling witnessed 57 per cent and 54.82 per cent voter turnout respectively and some reports say the NDA has not performed well in either of the phase.
