The Assembly elections of Bihar were declared to be conducted in 5 phases by the Election Commission chief Nasim Zaidi.
Those five phases are namely, October 12, 16, 28, November 1, 5 and the final results will be announced on November 8th. Notification date was finalized on September 16, last date of nominations is September 23 and the date of Scrutiny is on September 24.
According to the reports, there are around 6.6 crore voters are eligible to cast their votes in the elections. Speaking to the media, Nasim said that there will be the candidate photograph on Electronic Voting Machines.
"243 general observers will be deployed for the elections. Two model polling stations will be deployed in each constituency. The EC is committed towards free, fair and peaceful elections.
