Andhra Pradesh which has been divided now and formed as a separate state is all set to celebrate their Capital event on October 22.
It is revealed that around 15,000 VIPs will be sent personal invitations from the Chief Minister of AP Chandrababu Naidu.
The VIP list includes, right from President of India, Union Ministers, Judges of Supreme Court and Hyderabad High Court to the Ambassadors and top level leaders of political parties.
All the CMs of India including Telangana CM KCR will also be invited to the event. The capital in-charge P Narayana told that, "About 180 ambassadors of various countries will be invited."
The most appreciable news is that all the invitations will be given personally inviting their places but not through any post or courier.
“Apart from IT czars like Satya Nadella, Narayana Murthy and Azim Premji, industry honchos like Ratan Tata, Mukesh Ambani, Cyrus Mystry would be the special invitees. Though rumours are rife that a whopping 1.2 lakh invites would be made ready, senior government officials say around 60,000 invitations would be sent. "The total number of invitations may not exceed 60,000. But, there is no proposal to hand out invites to legislators from Telangana," Tadikonda MLA T Sravan Kumar told TOI.
But the man behind the event CM of Andhra Pradesh had not yet finalized the design of the invitation and has to make some changes in the draft.
"We are hopeful the CM will clear the design by Wednesday night," advisor to the government (communications) Parakala Prabhakar told TOI.
According to some reports, “Once the CM's is done with his decision, the invitations will be kept ready by Saturday. “Accrediation” letters will also be given along with the contact numbers of the officials who will be present to receive them. The district administration is busy enlisting escort protocol officials to accompany the VIPs.
While Vijayawada municipal commissioner G Veerapandian will be in-charge of receiving guests at the railway station, Nuzvid RDO Cherukuri Rangaiah will take care of guests at the airport.”
