The divided state Andhra Pradesh has achieved a great and good growth rate than expected.
The Chief Minister of AP Nara Chnadrababu Naidu said that the state has achieved 11.77 percent growth rate when expected 10.62 percent.
"Andhra Pradesh has surpassed by 4 per cent the national growth rate of 7.2 per cent by achieving a growth rate of 11.77 per cent in the first half (H1 - April to September) of this fiscal," said Mr Naidu.
“Agricultural allied sector - fisheries and animal husbandry has achieved growth rate of 47.10 per cent followed by service sector 8.05 per cent and industry 6.25 per cent,” revealed Naidu.
Chief Minister urged the state officials to take care on Agriculture sector which is the main reason of the growth saying, "to give top priority to agriculture which is the major source of occupation for about 65 per cent of the state population".
