Some group of doctors has held a surgery camp at the Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh. Cataract Surgery of eye is the main motto of the doctors.
They have done surgery for about 22 patients and the result is they have lost eye sight due to some infection.
"The government has taken the loss of eyesight due to cataract surgery in Barwani very seriously. None of those responsible would be spared. The state government will ensure that the victims get full medical care. The government will bear all the medical expenses," the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said in tweet.
About 32 people have experienced infection of eye out of which 22 have lost their vision. The patients are mostly young men and women.
