According to some media, a 16-year-old Anmol Tukrel is an Indian origin Canadian citizen has designed a search engine as a part of his project and claims that his search engine is 47 percent accurate than Google.
He came across the idea of personalized search engine during the internship stint at Bangalore based adtech firm IceCream labs. Anmol says that his engine is most relevant and shows the most relevant content by mapping it to user’s personality.
Tukrel’s search machine is now restricted to one year’s news articles of The New York Times. His personalized engine kit includes a computer, a python language development environment, a spreadsheet programme and access to Google and New York Times.
