Prime Minister Narendra Modi last week announced e-visas for Chinese tourists, making it the 77th country to get the facility. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday met his senior ministerial colleagues to discuss programmes to celebrate first anniversary of his government. Modi, who returned from a three-nation tour of China, Mongolia and South Korea last night, held deliberations with ministers Arun Jaitley, Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj, M Venkaiah Naidu and Nitin Gadkari. Issues related to celebrating the first anniversary of the NDA government on May 26 are understood to have been discussed during the meeting. BJP President Amit Shah also met the Prime Minister in connection with the anniversary celebrations, sources said. Modi is understood to have told his ministers and party leaders to spread the message about the work done by the government during the last one year, particularly highlighting the initiatives in the social sector.
