Of late, Tollywood's leading stars Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan have been making a huge splash in important social campaigns, inspiring millions of their fans. Pawan formed a political party and became more proactive and Mahesh even adopted a village each in AP and Telangana, winning everyone's hearts.
Just a day before the GHMC polls which took place on the 2nd February, Mahesh took to his Twitter page and appealed to everyone saying, "Please go and vote to make each vote count!" However, much to everyone's surprise, Mahesh himself did not exercise his vote, according to reports.
On the other hand, Pawan, who even made news with his party planning to contest in the GHMC polls, did not even cast his vote and got himself busy with Sardaar's shoot, leave alone contesting. Needless to say, fans of both these stars are hugely upset to see them failing to practice what they preached when it was needed the most.
This led to a series of discussions among fans and detractors of both the stars who are mocking them saying that they should first practice what they preach. Not just Mahesh and Pawan, there are also quite a few influential stars who gave it a miss at the GHMC polls and set a bad example. It's high time for these stars to act!
