Late actor Sobhan Babu has made an unforgettable mark in the hearts of Telugu audiences. Apart from the image of ‘Soggadu’ and ‘Andagadu’, he was also noted for his romance with twin actresses in family dramas at that time. Now, young hero Rahul Ravindran is trying to take his place. After scoring decent hits with ‘Ala Ela’ and ‘Tiger’, Rahul has started a new film titled ‘Shobhan Babu’. He will romance not two but three actresses in this film.
The search for a third heroine opposite Rahul Ravindran in ‘Sobhan Babu’ has ended with Kannada actress Aishani Shetty. The 21-year-old Mangalore beauty was seen in Kannada films like ‘Vastu Prakaara’ and ‘Rocket’.
Confirming the development, director –producer K Viplove said when contacted, “Yes, she has been zeroed in. It was my cameraman Bharani K Dharan who had a role in her casting. She will get equal screen space like the other two girls Parvathy Nair and Nithya Shetty.”
The director also said that he will take the film on to sets this month-end. “We are planning to wrap it up in a start-to-finish schedule. The filming will take place completely in Hyderabad.”
Viplove has also got on board composer Ramana Gogula. “He has taken the project on a prestigious note. He has already given us one track and is working towards other three numbers,” he exulted.
