Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan's luck seems to have changed ever since he and wife Sussanne separated. The hunk of an actor seems to be finding himself in the company of newer and younger actresses with every passing year. But then, this should hardly come as a surprise to B-town fans and critics, for isn't this the general norm in the industry?
The actor is currently working on Ashutosh Gowariker’s Mohenjo Daro with debutante Pooja Hegde and now, after various top actresses’ names were tossed around, he’s signed Kaabil opposite Yami Gautam.
A source adds, “It’s a big solo-heroine project for Yami, who has done films with Ajay Devgn and Varun Dhawan, where she had to share joint credit with another actress. There were speculations that actresses like Parineeti Chopra and Kareena Kapoor had been approached for the role in Kaabil, which director Sanjay Gupta later denied. It’s a big feather in Yami’s hat to be part of this project. Everyone from Gupta to Hrithik and his father Rakesh felt that Yami suited the role the best.”
Incidentally, Rakesh Roshan is also the film’s producer. The film is slated to be an intense love story-cum-thriller. Yami is one of the prettiest actresses in the industry at the moment and it will be interesting to see her chemistry with Hrithik.
