Yesteryear diva Hema Malini who has been given the sobriquet of "Dream Girl", turned grand mother in real life. Hema Malini and Dharmendra's younger daughter Ahaana Deol Vohra gave birth to a baby boy recently. Sharing the joy and euphoria, Hema Malini said, "By the grace of God, I'm a grandmother now. What do you mean I don't look like a grandmother? It's a natural process of life. And I'm very proud to be a nani." The 66-year-old actress also thanked her fans for the congratulatory messages. While Dharmendra turned into grandfather, he too thrilled whereas Ahaana's elder sister, actress Esha Deol, who hosted a star-studded baby shower for her in March, also in cloud-nine with her younger sister blessing with bay boy. Actress-BJP MP Hema Malini took a whole month off from her hectic schedule to be around with her daughter and newborn boy. New mother Ahaana Deol, who is a budding Odissi dancer, married Delhi-based businessman Vaibhav Vohra on February 2, 2014.
