Introduction:
Akshay Kumar who is known as Khiladi is well suited for the character, Sidharth who well executed as angry young man in Ek Villian also features the same in this film. The combination of both terrific actors will rock in the theater.
Story:
“Brothers” is the remake of the famous Hollywood movie Warrior, which is a story of two brothers.
Gary Fernandes (Jackie Shroff) releases from jail who will be received by Monty. Gary inquires about David who will not come to meet Gary. David (Akshay Kumar) and Monty (Sidharth Malhotra) both are bonded with love and hates relationships. Gary and his wife Maria Fernandes (Shefali Shah) adopt Monty and David as their own son’s. Situation turns and Maria dies. David Puts blame on Monty and Gary and moves ahead in life.
In another part, David leaves happily with his wife Jenny (Jacqueline) and daughter. David needs dialysis of his daughter’s kidneys frequently. Billionaire Peter Briganza (Kiran Kumar) gifts a huge amount of Rs 9 crore by a two-day mixed martial arts tournament. This gives an opportunity to David for dialysis and for Monty as his angst. Who will win the tournament and what happens to the relationship of David and Monty should be watched in Theaters only.
Plus Point:
Fight sequences between Akshay and Sidharth makes jaw drop. The fighting scenes are like real with bloody nose which keeps you on the edge of your seat. Jackie shroff did hundred percent justice to his part.
Minus Point:
There is not much importance to Jacqeline character only to shutter tears out of emotion and happiness. Kareena’s special song “Mera Naam Mary” doesn’t have any part other than a hot and sex appeal.
Verdict:
Finally the effort of both the actors gone well. People who are in love with fight sequences and martial arts can enjoy the movie.
