After Kapil Dev the second most successful Indian pace bowler in Test match Cricket Zaheer Khan stepped one day forward in his life and turned 36 years old today (October 7).

Marathi Muslim Zaheer has been a member of the country cricket since 2000. He is the recipient of the India’s second highest sporting award by the President of India that is Arjuna Award.

He has been suffered from many injuries and health problems due to which his ranking in the International cricket is very low.

Zaheer was selected as one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 2008. Khan has been selected in 2000 for the first intake of National Cricket Academy in Banglore.

Made his Test Debut against Bangladesh and ODI debut against Kenya. The year 2005 bought twist and turns in his career where Sreesanth and R. P. Singh entered into the cricket team which made Zaheer difficult to prove himself.

Zak in his ODI career has taken 282 wickets and 311 Test wickets. The cricketer was in relationship with the actress of Lucky by Chance movie Isha Sharvani for about 8 years.
