Black Caps bowler Tim Southee has helped his Rajasthan Royals to second in the Indian Premier League after a win over the Delhi Daredevils. Southee didn't take any wickets but came up big at the death, restricting the Daredevils to 15 runs from the final over as they chased 30 to win. Delhi were chasing an imposing 189 in Mumbai thanks to an unbeaten 91 from Royals batsman Ajinkya Rahane and Kayun Nair's 61 from 38 balls. Southee was valuable throughout Delhi's run chase, bowling an early maiden and finishing with figures of 0 for 31 from his four overs. Fellow Black Caps bowler Mitchell McClenaghan was also successful in helping the Mumbai Indians close out a 23-run win over the Kings XI Punjab, to finish with figures of 0 for 25 from four overs.
